I was invited to take part in this project titled "New York Makes a Book" in which 100 people all throw in 30 bucks to create a 100 page book. Each participant can do whatever they like with their page, and 100 books are then printed and distributed at a little gathering of sorts. This was the first non-moving art I have done in quite some time, and quite enjoyed it. Its based on a photo I took while camping with a bunch of friends around her family's cabin in Pennsylvania, which we have been doing every year memorial weekend for 3 years now.

A sampling of slow-mo footage I shot while on a fake camping escapade with the gang at Nathan Love. Caution: contains slow motion ass crack.
Together with comrade Adrian Winter, this animation was written and animated in 3 weeks, while juggling staff jobs. Special thank you to the cherry milkshakes that kept us going at about 5am. Took the grand prize in the 2007 Animadness competition.
After creating “Sticks” for the NYC 48hr Film Project, we were invited to create another short, along with teams from San Francisco and Los Angeles, for the Visa Invitational. Is Dave Moore a little too good at looking like a bum? You be the judge.
This film was completed in the sleepless span of 24 hours with the theme "free" and the action "placing a plug into a socket" as the assigned requirements.
Written, shot, and edited in 48 hours, this short snagged an “Audience Choice” award, Runner up for Best Directing, Runner up for Best Writing, and Best Credit Sequence in the 2007 New York City 48hr Film Project out of 50 teams. It also earned us into another round of filmmaking (See “One Man’s Trash”) .
